 Financial reporting & analysis skills

 Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally)

 Keep updated with changes in VAT & tax laws and regulations

 Professional certification (CA-CC/ACCA part-qualified) preferred



Responsibilities & Context:

1. Financial Reporting

 Prepare periodic financial Statements as per ISA & IFRS.

 Analyze tax & VAT compliance as per financial Statements and variances calculation.

 Assist in preparing reports for senior management decision-making.

2. VAT & Tax Compliance

 Preparation and submission of monthly VAT and Income Tax filings

 Maintain tax & VAT documents for audit and regulatory purposes

 Handle VAT operations: upload purchase/sales data and import (LC) costing

 Prepare Mushak forms (6.1, 6.2, 6.2.1, 6.6, 6.10, 4.3 & 9.1) and support (6.3, 6.5)

 Review vendor bills and ensure proper TDS & VDS compliance

 Preparation of Withholding Tax and Corporate Tax returns

 Ensure compliance with VAT & Tax Act, Rules, and SROs and other regulations.

 Assist in tax planning to ensure lawful tax efficiency

 Maintain VAT registers, Mushak forms, and related documentation.

 Maintain VAT automated Software.

 Liaise with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders.

3. Follow-up & Coordination

 Follow up on receivables, payables, and pending financial transactions.

 Liaise with internal departments (SCM, Sales, Production) for financial data and compliance.

 Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
