• Perform duties as the duty officer as per the duty Roster.

• Ensure the fall-in of all security guards and ensure everyone’s attendance and check the turnout of the security personnel.

• Brief everyone in the fall-in about their respective duties and responsibilities.

• Record when a lost item is found in the register, ensure safety of the material and announce the issue immediately.

• Inform the management about any VIP arrivals at the market.

• Inform the concerned authority of any untoward incidents immediately and take necessary measures.

• Perform as Platoon Commander and look after the operational and administrative matters of the Platoon.

• Brief the replacing duty officer about the prevailing situation and pending jobs.
