Responsibilities & Context:
Ventura Leatherware Mfy (BD) Ltd, a 100% Export Oriented Enterprise in Uttara EPZ, we are looking for a potential talent for the position of Officer - C&F operation Jetty Sarkar (Import) under Supply Chain Division.
Key Responsibilities:
Must be honest and trustworthy in handling customs and port operations.
Must have a solid understanding of Customs HS codes, SRO and ASYCUDA World.
Should have an excellent understanding of all import-related documents.
Must be able to check and confirm the Bill of Import generated from ASYCUDA.
Must possess Customs and Jetty Sarkar licenses.
Capable of handling the clearance of various bonded products, machinery, spare parts, chemicals, and other items. Ensure timely and accurate product clearance with minimal delay.
Facilitate examination and clearance of imported goods, ensuring that only a minimum percentage of the consignment is inspected on the port, streamlining the release process.
Arrange for the transportation of goods from the port to the factory after clearance, using appropriate vehicles (e.g., movers or C-Vans).
Ensure the original documents are sent to the factory after delivery is completed.
Must be knowledgeable about the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) regulations, particularly for spare parts, machines, construction materials, and chemical items, along with their relevant HS codes.
Handle all necessary communications and operations with port authorities effectively
