Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Nutrition
∎ Masters in Nutrition
∎ 3 years' work experience
∎ 1-year work experience with a Nutrition Sector NGO in the Rohingya response
∎ Prior experience as a supervisor or team leader
∎ Written and spoken Bangla
∎ Working knowledge of English (oral & written)
∎ Ability to communicate in Rohingya language (spoken Chittagong dialect)
∎ Master's in Public Health preferred (Desirable)
∎ Training in CMAM, CMAM-I, IYCF or nursing (Desirable)

Job Context:
∎ To improve the nutritional status of the Rohingya communities who have arrived from Myanmar through the provision of nutrition services
∎ World Concern, with technical support from Medair, implements nutrition services for children under 5 years and pregnant and lactating women
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Uphold World Concern and Medair values and contribute to the wellbeing of the team as an active member.
∎ Follow World Concern and Medair policies, including child protection, PSEA, Gender based and disability awareness .
∎ Technical:
∎ Provide day to day oversight of all activities at the assigned nutrition site
∎ Coordinate staff, check patient flow, look for bottle necks and find solutions
∎ Assist with on-the-job training of nutrition staff and volunteers, following national and international guidelines
∎ Staff Management:
∎ Supervise staff and volunteers working at the nutrition site including monitoring attendance and reporting any problems to the Project/ Nutrition Officer or Project/ Nutrition Manager
∎ Assign work to each staff and volunteer, and follow up to make sure they understand the job
∎ With the support of the Project/ Nutrition Officers, facilitate regular staff meetings at nutrition site
∎ Quality Management and beneficiary accountability
∎ Provide daily oversight and supervision to ensure the site is functioning efficiently and according to quality standards
∎ Ensure proper documentation is completed to record and monitor measurements, food rations, medications, and other items given to nutrition programme beneficiaries
∎ Report any suspected or identified fraud cases at the nutrition site to the Project Officer
∎ Oversee the collection of beneficiary feedback in the nutrition site
∎ Coordinate with Outreach Supervisor and Nutrition Promotor to request home visits and to track results
∎ Pay special attention to beneficiaries who are at risk of defaulting or nonresponding
∎ Reporting
∎ Collect, review and submit required daily and weekly nutrition programme reports
∎ External Representation:
∎ Liaise with representatives of the Ministry of Health and other partners providing nutrition and health activities in the same location
∎ Refer to the Project Officer before making any commitment verbal or written
∎ Attend camp level meetings as required
∎ Attend trainings and workshops as requested
∎ Logistics:
∎ Prepare weekly stock requests with distribution staff, nutrition nurse and assistants
∎ Ensure sufficient buffer stocks of food rations, supplies, medicines and other distribution items are available at the nutrition site especially during the rainy season when transportation is limited
∎ Ensure the stock is properly stored at the nutrition site
∎ Monitor expiry dates to ensure stocks are utilized prior to their expiry
∎ Check regular stock reports prepared by storekeeper
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 55 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 3 years' prior experience as a supervisor or team leader (Desirable)
∎ Fluent in English (Desirable)
