∎ Experience working with infants 0-6 months

Job Context:
∎ Medair implements Nutrition and Shelter Projects in different camps to achieve the desired objectives to improve the nutritional status of the Rohingya communities who have arrived from Myanmar through the provision of nutrition services
∎ PROJECT OVERVIEW World Concern, with technical support from Medair, implements nutrition services for children under 5 years and pregnant and lactating women in the Kutupalong camps in Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee and be responsible for technical performance at four OTP/TSFP/BSFP sites within designated catchment areas in Kutupalong camp.
∎ Oversee and be responsible for technical performance of the community outreach components in all four catchment areas
∎ Technical:
∎ Provide technical oversight for the implementation of CMAM activities, including OTP/TSFP/BSFP, IYCF, and C-MAMI.
∎ Ensure nutrition staff receive appropriate and effective training as needed to fulfil their duties within the CMAM structure. Develop and deliver new training modules if needed.
∎ Oversee the implementation of supportive supervision at nutrition sites. Recognise trends in supportive supervision feedback/results and strategize appropriate support
∎ Support the Head of Nutrition, Programme Manager and Health/ Nutrition Advisor to ensure national and international standards are consistently met. Anticipate areas where increased support may be required and proactively intervene to improve quality indicators.
∎ Attend internal and external training sessions as required
∎ Compile accurate, timely internal reports and analyses as required.
∎ Assist in the preparation of quantitative, qualitative, and narrative external reports as required by donors and regulators.
∎ Staff Supervision and Development
∎ Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team spirit, and provide guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions
∎ Oversee the completion of performance evaluations of staff members, as directed
∎ Coordination and External Representation:
∎ Attend nutrition meetings at field and sector level as requested by the Head of Nutrition
∎ Liaise with Government representatives, donor representatives, and other partners providing nutrition and health activities in the project areas
∎ Refer to the Head of Nutrition before making any verbal or written commitment
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Written and spoken Bangla and English
∎ Strong computer skills with competence in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
∎ Problem solving ability.
∎ Attention to detail
∎ Fluent in written and spoken English
∎ Advanced training in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
