∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Nutrition
∎ Master's degree in Public Health or related subject.
∎
∎ Training/Trade Course: IMCI, CMAM, CMAMI, IYCF
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ World Concern, with technical support from Medair, implements nutrition services for children under 5 years and pregnant and lactating women in the Kutupalong camps in Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee and be responsible for technical performance at four OTP/TSFP/BSFP sites within designated catchment areas in Kutupalong camp.
∎ Provide technical oversight for the implementation of CMAM activities, including OTP/TSFP/BSFP, IYCF, and C-MAMI.
∎ Ensure nutrition staff receive appropriate and effective training as needed to fulfil their duties within the CMAM structure. Develop and deliver new training modules if needed.
∎ Oversee the implementation of supportive supervision at nutrition sites. Recognise trends in supportive supervision feedback/results and strategize appropriate support
∎ Support the Project Manager and Health/ Nutrition Advisor to ensure national and international standards are consistently met. Anticipate areas where increased support may be required and proactively intervene to improve quality indicators.
∎ Attend internal and external training sessions as required
∎ Compile accurate, timely internal reports and analyses as required.
∎ Assist in the preparation of quantitative, qualitative, and narrative external reports as required by donors and regulators.
∎ Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team spirit, and provide guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions
∎ Oversee the completion of performance evaluations of staff members, as directed
∎ Attend nutrition meetings at field and sector level as requested by the Nutrition Project Manager
∎ Liaise with Government representatives, donor representatives, and other partners providing nutrition and health activities in the project areas
∎ Refer to the Nutrition Project Manager before making any verbal or written commitment
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 27 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 2 years' work experience in CMAM nutrition interventions
∎ Experience working with project proposals, indicators, reporting to donors Previous NGO Experience
∎ Experience in technical administration of CMAM programming
∎ Experience working with infants 0-6 months
∎ Written and spoken Bangla and English
∎ Fluent in written and spoken English (Desirable)
∎ Strong computer skills with competence in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
∎ Problem solving ability.
∎ Advanced training in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
∎ Desire to serve the refugee community
∎ Enjoys working in a team
∎ Respectful and kind with other staff and beneficiaries
∎ Capacity to be flexible when facing difficult working conditions
∎ Able to work well under pressure
∎ Willingness to travel and stay in the field
∎ Good communication skills
∎ Able to oversee multiple tasks, prioritising and delegating as required
∎ Able to build trust and enforce procedures
Salary: Negotiable
