Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Current RN license

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in nursing education or two years of recent direct patient care experience

• Strong background in Critical care, Evidence-based practice, and leadership will be a plus.

• Strong background in core nursing courses and Medical Surgical Nursing

• Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and a genuine passion for mentoring future nurses.

• A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping students succeed

• The candidate has to have the ability to communicate in English with the Native American Students of PITC to conduct the tuition classes successfully.

DoPeace, a specialized business consultancy, is currently providing its support for the PITC Institute, a US-based nursing school.

We’re seeking a passionate Nursing Tutor who brings both academic and clinical experience and a desire to inspire future nurses. Nursing Tutors focus on supplemental coaching to ensure students are fully prepared for the NCLEX-PN (National Council Licensure Examination).

Providing intensive review sessions outside of regular class hours to reinforce core nursing concepts. Guiding students through clinical reasoning and practical applications of nursing care. Utilizing test-taking strategies and practice assessments specifically designed to meet the rigors of the board exam. By providing this targeted support, DoPeace aims to improve PITC’s institutional passing rates and ensure that every nursing candidate possesses the competency and confidence required to enter the healthcare workforce.

Project Objectives:

The primary objective of this role is to bridge the gap between classroom theory and professional licensure. Unlike traditional lecturers, these tutors focus on supplemental coaching to ensure students are fully prepared for the NCLEX-PN (National Council Licensure Examination).

What You Will Do:

As a Nursing Tutor, you will provide hands-on academic and clinical assistance that inspires and engages students beyond the classroom. You will teach core subjects such as Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology, Nutrition, Pediatrics and Gerontology while also guiding students through nursing fundamentals and advanced skills. In addition, you will introduce them to specialized areas including medical-surgical nursing, maternal health, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as personal health and vocational relationships.

You will mentor students in clinical settings, helping them build confidence and strengthen their professional skills. Collaboration with other faculty and staff will be essential to ensure students receive the highest quality learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach core nursing subjects such as Pediatrics, Anatomy & Physiology (A&P), Basic Nursing Skills (BNS), Advanced Nursing Skills (ANS), Pharmacology, Nutrition, Gerontology, and more.

• Guide and coach students in clinical settings to apply their knowledge and build real-world skills.

• Teach and inspire nursing students in both classroom and clinical settings.

• Provide specialized instruction in nursing fundamentals and advanced areas like Pediatrics, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal Health (Ob/Gyn), Clinical Instruction, and more.

• Mentor students in clinical settings, fostering skill development, professional growth, and academic success.

• Support students’ performance, students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and offering academic and clinical support as needed to enhance learning outcomes.
