Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning & preparing lessons in relation to individual pupils' needs and examination syllabuses;
∎ Acquiring appropriate teaching materials and resources;
∎ Making sure musical material is up-to-date;
∎ Assessing the ability of all students taught;
∎ Teaching music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to pupils;
∎ Helping to improve musical knowledge and ability;
∎ Teaching students how to read music properly;
∎ Advising and preparing pupils for examinations;
∎ Giving students detailed and constructive feedback;
∎ Giving the parents and teachers of students' feedback;
∎ Ensuring up-to-date knowledge and awareness of examination requirements;
∎ Assessing pupils' abilities, providing feedback and writing reports;
∎ Liaising with academic staff and parents.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to sing artistically;
∎ Ability to play musical instruments such as Tabla, Harmonium etc;
∎ Knowledge on music theory, history etc;
∎ Ability to handle junior section students;
∎ Must have experience in teaching at school;

∎ Good teaching skills;
