Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of experience in a reporting or multimedia role (TV, online media, or digital journalism); freshers are also encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in video shooting and editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
• Strong storytelling, writing, and interviewing skills in both Bangla and English.
• Ability to work irregular hours and travel at short notice.
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools and social media best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with live reporting or news anchoring.
• Knowledge of SEO and data-driven storytelling.
• Creative eye for visuals and multimedia presentation.
• Ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure, fast-paced news environments.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Multimedia Reporter to join our newsroom. This role combines the responsibilities of a journalist, videographer, and digital content creator. The ideal candidate must be passionate about news, skilled in storytelling across multiple platforms, and able to work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, pitch, and develop original news stories with strong visual and editorial impact.
• Report from the field, conduct interviews, and produce multimedia content (video, audio, text, photos).
• Shoot and edit video packages suitable for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Write compelling scripts, captions, and accompanying web articles.
• Collaborate closely with producers, editors, and social media teams to ensure cross-platform alignment.
• Use mobile journalism (MoJo) tools for quick turnaround reporting, especially in breaking news situations.
• Ensure content is accurate, ethical, and aligned with Newsflash71’s editorial standards.
