Job Context:

Near about three decades of relentless efforts to make this happen, ESDO has embraced new grounds and opened up new horizons to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable people to bring meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. During this long span, ESDO has adapted with the changing situation and provided the most time-bound services especially for the poor and disadvantaged. A community focused and people centered approach has been adapted by ESDO while consideration was given to the national policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 273 upazilas under 49 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ ESDO in Partnership Unilever Bangladesh and Plan International Bangladesh is going to implement DOVE Self Esteemed Project in Jaldhaka Upazila under Nilphamari district, ESDO is seeking to hire the qualified, committed and dedicated person according to the following conditions.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Monitoring Officer will be responsible for design and management of a comprehensive supportive monitoring and documentation systems, in accordance with project log frame
∎ S/he will take responsibility to capture best practices and outcomes of the project through effective field visit, conduct FGD-Interview, generate innovative idea and prepare qualitative report and share the findings with internal and external actors to keep project in track.
∎ The Monitoring Officer will play vital role to mainstream the project interventions for achieving project's goal/impact and capacity building of project staffs in documentation, monitoring, data analysis, and evaluation.
∎ Ensure relevant and timely M&E information and learning is provided in user-friendly formats to key stakeholders, including beneficiary, communities, line supervisor and donors
∎ Capacity building of frontline staff for MIS data collection, MIS data review on screen to ensure accuracy, spot check and back check for data validation
∎ Conduct process, output monitoring and support to conduct comprehensive situation analysis (CSA) and day to day data preservation and provide donor as required
∎ Support project staff in planning, Organize community reflection and participatory programme review
∎ Conduct day to day program monitoring, data analysis, prepare report on the findings and given lesson learnt andrecommendation for overcome the findings and report share with Project Manager
∎ Support to project staff in data collection for baseline and end line, periodic monitoring, special study and experience capitalization of the project.
∎ Prepare compiled monthly, quarterly and yearly progress report both qualitative and quantitative and submit to the Project Manager.
∎ Maintain excellent coordination with project stakeholders (Children, parents, elites, UP, CBO, School Teacher, SMC etc.)
∎ prepare monthly report through analyzing project progress and share in the monthly meeting as regular job and share the laps and gaps if any for further development of the project.
∎ 70% field work to track the project activities and 30% for desk work to prepare necessary report & documentation and planning.
∎ Comply with ESDO and Plan International Bangladesh policies and practices (child protection, HR, gender responsive safeguarding, health and safety, gender, and other procedures.
∎ Reporting to the Project Manager

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Age at most 35 years but age will be relaxed for highly relevant experienced candidates.
∎ Both Females and Males are allowed to apply but females are especially encouraged.
∎ At least 3-5 years experiences on Monitoring & Knowledge Management Officer in any reputed NGOs.
∎ In-depth knowledge on Management and Learning, MIS, M&E and development issues
∎ Excellent skills on report writing in English and Bangla
∎ Computer skill on MS Office & Power point and Virtual Communication skills will be added advantage
∎ Have quick decision making and problem-solving skills and to meet the required deadline of information, report submission.
∎ Should have valid driving license and skills on Motorcycle driving.
∎ ESDO/Plan Management may revise the job description as and when feel necessary to do so.

Salary:
∎ Monthly Consolidated BDT: 25,000/-
