Job Context:
∎ Project Brief: CNRS has been implementing DRR Project in partnership with WFP since December 2018. The project aims to improve Disaster Risk Reduction at camps and host communities, reduce risks of soil erosion through biological and mechanical slope stabilization and restore natural habitat through afforestation and reforestation.
∎ Expected Joining Date: 10 August 2020
∎ Job Nature: Contractual (3 months with high possibility of extension)
∎ Job Location: Cox`s Bazar District with extensive field visits at camp areas and adjacent host communities in Ukhiya and Teknaf.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have excellent report preparation skill independently in English;
∎ Outstanding English communication skill through email and other means of communication;
∎ Able to work under pressure and accommodate stress;
∎ Clear understanding of project goal and objectives, SOPs, data flow, MIS system, project advocacy agendas and communication modalities;
∎ Monitor and evaluate the compliance of actual progress and performance against the planned work plan. In collaboration with Project Manager, Technical Coordinator, Database associate and construction supervisors coordinate all M&E activities as per the project activity plan.
∎ Quality assessment through regular monitoring of project implementation;
∎ Provide technical backstopping support to field team of the project in program implementation, particularly capacity building, communication and quality compliance;
∎ Ensure that field team maintains required source documents in connection with project activities;
∎ Collect and provide necessary data and information for meeting the requirement of M&E system of the project;
∎ Support project implementation team in maintaining a strong brand image for the project /organization /donor, including impactful and fit for purpose reports/publications and social media;
∎ Ensure that the communication outputs viz. reports are of a high standard, respond to the need of the target audience and are delivered within agreed budget and timeline
∎ Promote knowledge sharing through the project's operational intervention processes and systems by, among others, strengthening links between knowledge sharing and the information systems, and improving integration among information systems in the organization, to facilitate seamless exchange of information across the stakeholders
∎ Assist the Project Manager in organizing visits and key donor contract deliverable preparation
∎ Ensure systematic cross /spot check and triangulation of data to ensure validity, reliability, timeliness and quality of all data;
∎ Assist and actively participate in project planning, assessments/ evaluations;
∎ Any other activities as assigned
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years working experience of monitoring, evaluation and reporting in development sector. Working experience of DRR and with WFP, SCi and in Rohingya camp context will be an added advantage.
∎ Dynamic attitude to capture and report learning.
∎ Abilities to undertake extensive travel to field level
∎ Efficient computer literacy including MS Office applications and email.
∎ Ability to work under pressure
∎ Having non-discriminatory and gender sensitive perception
Salary:
∎ BDT 50,000/month. Negotiable for deserving candidates.
