Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree preferably in Agricultural Economics/ Economics Sociology/ Social Development Studies.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide support to the development and implementation of IDEA's M&E performance, monitoring plans to track effectively all the project activities, outcomes, and results. This includes supporting the development of indicators (quantitative and qualitative), as well as processes and tools to measure them.
∎ Responsible for regular updating of the IDEA project activities in the CGIAR MEL platform.
∎ Collation and analysis of M&E data (including through surveys, web statistics, interviews, feedback, case studies and reports) and analysed against outcomes to draw out learning and implications.
∎ Provide training on the MEL system as well as support and oversight with IDEA partners (E.g. NGOs & LSPs) to develop program monitoring plans, data quality assessments, clarify roles and expectations for MEL.
∎ Present Evaluation and Learning findings and data to the project team during monthly project meeting at Dhaka and MEL learning sessions at the regional offices (Rajshahi & Bogura).
∎ Ensure information from M&E activities is properly analyzed and written up for reporting and learning.
∎ In consultation with project staff, contribute to technical and annual/monthly program reports.
∎ Support the Senior-MEL in oversight and supervision of field staff inputs, in the monitoring of the results framework and in the the development of annual work plan of the project.
∎ Liaise with communication/MIS team of WorldFish Bangladesh to ensure that results of performance monitoring are integrated into communications strategies, message development and reporting on project accomplishments and lessons learned.
∎ Provide administrative and other support as needed to the project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years working experience in the area of knowledge/information management activities.
∎ Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in large scale projects.
∎ Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla - with an ability to make presentations and represent WorldFish with a variety of audiences.
∎ Capable of management activities including project planning, implementation and report writing.
∎ Strong in essential computer software/packages like MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint or similar software.
∎ Excellent data analyses skills, producing tables/graphs with interpretation and the ability to make verbal presentations.
∎ Excellent proficiency of spoken and written English and Bangla.
∎ Candidates having advanced degree/ trainings will be given preference.
∎ Knowledge of fisheries and aquaculture.
Salary:
∎ This is a Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS) positions with annual salary ranging between BDT 726,527 - BDT 867,512 per annum.
