Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years of MEAL experience within the humanitarian field
∎ Demonstrated knowledge of design and analysis of qualitative and quantitative research methods required
∎ Capacity to think critically and produce high-quality reports and analysis required
∎ Good level of proficiency in Word, PPT, Windows Excel required; SPSS, STATA and NVivo or other software an asset
∎ Experience in working in complex and volatile contexts
∎ Strong inter-personal, communication and leadership skills
∎ Strong planning and organizational skills
∎ Demonstrated commitment to meet deadlines and high degree of autonomy in his / her work required

Job Responsibilities:
∎ POSITION PROFILE: The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Specialist for DRC Country office in Bangladesh leads and coordinates the technical and operational planning and implementation of all MEAL activities required to improve and maintain programmes' quality, following proposal approval. The MEAL Specialist will ensure high programme quality over the course of project implementation.
∎ This includes, among other responsibilities: a) develop and review MEAL plans and IPTTs, b) manage data collection tools and methodologies for sampling and monitoring of the MEAL officers, c) deliver trainings and build the capacity of both MEAL and project officers, d) conduct data quality checks and data validation of IPTTs and process and outcome monitoring datasets e) review reports and data analysis prepared by MEAL officers.
∎ They will be directly responsible for process and outcome monitoring and will provide support to project teams for developing and coordinating output monitoring and database design and management. They will be co-responsible for revising and maintaining the IPTTs to ensure proper sex, age, and specific needs segregated are documented.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's Degree in social sciences, humanitarian and/or development studies, or relevant work experience
∎ Masters, Diplomas or Certification in M&E, IMS, PMP, PRINCE2 or related fields an added value
