Job Context:
∎ Name of Project: Child Centred Climate Change Adaptation (CCCCA) Project
∎ Duration of Project: August 2019 to July 2020 (Possibility of extension for another 1 year)
∎ Funded by: Australian Aid

∎ Job Location: Enayatpur, Sirajjganj

Job Responsibilities:
∎ KEY AREA 1: DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT M&E STRATEGY AND APPROACH
∎ Develop and shape the M&E strategy and approach for the project
∎ Develop and implement participatory assessment/evaluation process
∎ Develop and implement learning process
∎ Develop and implement feedback loop in order to use leanings to improve programs (in close collaboration with other project staffs)
∎ Manage monitoring operation
∎ Manage, operate strengthening field based monitoring process
∎ Collect, analysis and visualize data from the field
∎ Manage and guide baseline studies for the project
∎ Triangulate on data with secondary dada source
∎ Writes periodic monitoring, evaluation and learning reports
∎ Advice the project management on how to improve the program
∎ Visit the field to monitor field level implementation of the project
∎ Striving for innovation and encourage networking
∎ Assist to strengthening the monitoring and evaluation framework and develop new indicators
∎ Maintain and expend organization network and develop partner with others monitoring expert in the field
∎ Coordinate and collaborate with MEAL department of MMS and SCI
∎ Assist to develop, test, validate and implement new, innovative tools for monitoring
∎ KEY AREA 2: DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTING
∎ Provide regularly update report status of implementation against the project goals and objectives to the project management and the team
∎ Ensure the project report are developed and submitted in the timely manner to SCI
∎ Regular documentation and reporting of field activities
∎ Provide support to the project coordinator in developing reports and facilitating timely implementation of project intervention
∎ Capture and document best practices and liaison learning
∎ KEY AREA 3: REPORTING AND DOCUMENTATION
∎ Prepare periodic reports, case-studies and best practices
∎ Provide technical support, trainings to field staff for proper documentation and M&E
∎ Develop a common platform to disseminate learning's and challenges of the project
∎ KEY AREA 4: PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION AND MONITORING
∎ Provide guidance and support to GO-NGOs and project's staffs to ensure that the project is implemented effectively with high impact according to agreement with donor and state-of-the-art technical quality standards
∎ Lead preparation, review and periodic revision of detailed implementation plans
∎ Monitor progress through field visit, review of indicator, and meetings with staffs, communities, partners and other stakeholders
∎ Assist to conduct research to find climate change adaptive options to create climate sma
∎ KEY AREA 5: COORDINATION / REPRESENTATION
∎ Maintain a solid, up-to-date understanding with all the ANCP CCA implementing organizations & other NGOs
∎ Represent Project, MMS & SCI in different forums and networks efficiently

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software;
∎ 2-4 years relevant experience in research, development, monitoring and evaluation;
∎ Ability to design M&E tools, surveys and evaluations;
∎ Minimum 2 years working experiences in humanitarian and/or development programs and in the relevant field. Experience of working in Char land areas is highly desirable
∎ Proficiency in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and statistical packages;
∎ Experience in project planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
∎ Proficiency in local language can be an added value

Salary: Tk. 28500 (Monthly)

At the begging MMS worked in Chowhali in small scale but now we are working in whole Sirajgonj, Pabna, Tangail, Jamalpur and Bogra districts covering chars and river basin areas.
MMS implements its programmes and projects focusing chars and river basin area of the river Jamuna, there is no communication facilities and it is still remaining as untouched the minimum facilities of electricity and gas. MMS, a Bangladesh based not-for-profit organization is determined to generate contribution in ensuring Health, Nutrition, Education, CCA-DRR, Good Governance, Livelihood and Food Security for poor and vulnerable families of Jamuna river basin areas.
