Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Paramedic from Government Institutions/Medical Assistant Training School -MATS (duration 24 month) or Paramedic Course (duration 36 months) from Government approved any organization.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ RHSTEP is the pioneer non-government organization in the arena of safe MR services and training for more than three decades in Bangladesh. RHSTEP has continuing its activities in 20 districts of Bangladesh. Every year approximately 6, 50,000 women, men including youth adolescents and children receive health care services, education and awareness support through its 26 centers. Now RHSTEP is going to support the project titled Anon 20- Sexual and Reproductive Care for Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh funded by Ipas Global.
∎ The mass repatriation of hundreds of thousands of Rohingya to Myanmar is unlikely in the foreseeable future. To address severe overcrowding in the Cox`s Bazar refugee camps, in December 2020, the government of Bangladesh began relocating Rohingya families to Bhasan Char, a remote island in the Bay of Bengal. The overall goal of this project is to reduce unintended pregnancies and improve Rohingya women`s and adolescents` access to high-quality SRH services in Bangladesh. The primary focus will be on increasing access to modern contraceptive care to meet the high demand for this service-over 86% of SRH services provided in the camps to date have been for contraceptive care. However, trainings, technical assistance, and support to facilities, healthcare providers, and communities will also include capacity building and support related to the provision of safe, high-quality MR and PAC.
∎ Job Location: Bhasan Char

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have to provide quality MRM, MVA, MPAC and FP services to Rohynga population with maintaining full privacy and confidentiality.
∎ Have expertise on clinical service provision, capacity on clinical guidance & mentorship
∎ Knowledge on complication management according to SAE-policy.
∎ Willing to have frequent movement to different facilities according to service provider's requirements
∎ Not have any fixed facility to be placed, need to be moved to provide required clinical support. Guidance and mentoring to other service providers.
∎ Supervise and Ensure the overall cleanliness at the service center including waste disposal system
∎ Maintaining protocol of infection prevention to provide clinical services and using of medical equipment's
∎ Have to ensure appropriate referral service to referral center.
∎ Have clinical expertise to patient care and providing guidance to junior paramedics/ midwifes
∎ Performing administrative duties and managing risks
∎ Ensure the standards of patient care and maintained it.
∎ Have to conduct health education session among the waiting client for creating awareness
∎ Build strong relationship through clear communication with the community people
∎ Resolve current issues of there any and develop strategies for the future
∎ Listen the community voice and offer support and encouragement when appropriate
∎ Maintain confidentiality and privacy for the community participants
∎ Willing to provide emotional. Social and practical support as and when needed
∎ Have expertise on clinical service provision, capacity on clinical guidance & mentorship.
∎ Provide technical and clinical support physically if needed.
∎ Keep records of clients for all care provided and submit report to PM/Clinical Trainer - RHSTEP
∎ Carry out other duties as assigned by the authority.

∎ Having strong client oriented service approach with personal commitment.
∎ Maintain safe and clean working environment and encourage others to do the same.
∎ Having good communication and interpersonal skills and are able to maintain liaison and coordination with other team members.
∎ Having good computer skills on - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using internet.
∎ Experience in adolescent reproductive health interventions a significant plus.

Salary:
∎ BDT 50,000 (Consolidated)
