Job Context:
∎ DURATION: Six months
∎ START DATE: ASAP
∎ CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed Term
∎ Ensure the qualitative support of beneficiaries in terms of mental health, psychosocial support and protection. Ensure the quality implementation of the activities and programs and the strict respect of ACF standards and ensure the management of the psychologists and Psychosocial workers (PSW). Flexibility is highly expected for this position.
∎ Means: ACF and MHPSS.P guidelines and protocols, monitoring forms.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mission 1: Participate to the implementation of the MHPSS and Protection projects
∎ Be responsible for the respect of methodology for each step of activities implementation
∎ Contribute to the mapping of relevant actors (referral network) and set up of referral systems to other services available
∎ Organize information meetings, events and training sessions with community members to sensitize them and improve their knowledge in terms of MHPSS & Protection activities
∎ Monitor quality of intervention as defined by the project documents (the log frame, the proposal, annual review etc.)
∎ Participate in adapting and following- up the project work plan and guarantee the objectives are reached
∎ Follow up the activities with regular field visit and supervisions
∎ Identify and anticipate problems or constraints and regularly update to the Program Manager.
∎ Being able to use presence of mind and rapid decision making in emergency situations for the betterment of the program and team members.
∎ Mission 2: Team management of the MHPSS PSW and psychologists
∎ Support the PM to provide technical and managerial supervision to the PSW and psychologists on regular basis to discuss cases and review monitoring of activities
∎ Support the PM to organize and conduct training in psychology, child development, child protection, and other relevant topics especially on-job training (e.g. demonstrations, role playing);
∎ Manage and organize the team with planning, set the roles and activities of team members, needed equipment etc. with the collaboration of PM.
∎ Identify and share to the PM the training needs of team members. Support the PM to provide trainings and workshops to the team members according to the needs identified
∎ Conduct the performance appraisal of each team member in collaboration with the Project Manager
∎ Support, follow up and monitor team’s work, checking the quality of the tools and correct the possible issues with the PM and the team
∎ Encourage and maintain motivation of the team (team building activity)
∎ Mission 3: When required, coordinate with local partners, authorities and specific stakeholders and represent ACF externally. Liaise with other ACF department
∎ Develop and update service mapping
∎ Collaborate closely with other actors & services in the area of the MHPSS activities
∎ Participate in coordination meetings and technical working group upon needs and requests from PM
∎ Facilitate the coordination related to the implementation of MHPSS programs between specific stakeholders, partners and government technical department
∎ Mission 4: Participate on reporting on activities
∎ Contribute to data collection and data monitoring of the program. Ensure all needed data is collected to reached the donor’s targets
∎ Draft weekly / monthly reports as required by the PM (project report, APR, weekly program report)
∎ Share ad hoc data’s linked with sector of intervention or context analysis requested
∎ Insure the PSW and psychologists draft regular case-studies report and testimonies
∎ Mission 5: Assess project needs and propose reorientation and adapted project to the PM
∎ Monitor if the activities are in line with ACF standards and donor requirements
∎ Monitor if the targets and reachable and the data is accordingly collected.
∎ Mission 6: Respect a strict confidentiality
∎ Strictly respect the confidentiality of data and MHPSS material (files, intake document etc), being the property of the project’s beneficiaries and ACF
∎ Respect confidentiality regarding the content of clinical interviews, group discussions and any other sessions

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge of MHPSS interventions in the humanitarian sector
∎ Experience in team management
∎ Experience in protection or MHPSS will be an extra advantage
∎ Sound knowledge in working with MS Office (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint), etc
∎ Any international certification on project management is a plus

Salary: Tk. 71000 (Monthly)
