Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1: To contribute to the analysis of the humanitarian context, to the intervention strategy and to the positioning of the Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection (MHPSS.P) department.
∎ Analysis of MHPSS & Protection humanitarian situation and the context of intervention in a continuous, systematic and satisfactory way. Integrate this analysis and monitoring in the APRs (Activity Progress Report) each month.
∎ Implementation of the assigned project consistent with ACF policies and positioning documents, the national strategy and other legal texts of the technical ministry/ministries in charge of the sector, the key international documents of the sector.
∎ Mapping other actors & potential partners in the area with the aim of improving coordination and avoiding duplication of efforts.
∎ Promoting transversal integration of MHPSS.P department with other departments in collaboration with the Field Coordinator.
∎ For management of crosscutting issues in the MHPSS responses (Protection, Gender, Disability, etc...)
∎ Objective 2: To ensure the implementation, monitoring and reporting of MHPSS.P projects.
∎ Implementation of the various MHPSS.P projects in Cox's Bazaar, consistent with the logical framework of the intervention, the budget, the ACF logistical and administrative procedures.
∎ Coordination and supervision of training and supportive activities at INC (Integrated Nutrition Centers) & SC (Stabilization Centers) level, and other MHPSS and Protection interventions, of referral system building activities.
∎ Identification of the technical constraints linked to implementation of projects and for the proposal of innovative technical solutions to respond to its constraints.
∎ Implementation of technical recommendations in his/her projects (Field Coordinator, HoD's, Technical Advisor...).
∎ Monitoring of his/her projects using the MHPSS & Protection indicators, the internal APR monitoring tools, regular presence in the field (60% at least).
∎ Writing within the deadlines of the MHPSS.P parts of external and internal reports to be submitted.
∎ Identification & implementation of safety measures for the teams and the populations (training places, community work sites.
∎ Objective 3: To build capacities and manage his/her team.
∎ Recruitment and initial training of the team on ACF MHPSS.P technical interventions and activities tools
∎ Management of team (leadership, motivation, team meetings, individual action plans, work schedules, conflict management.
∎ Performance evaluation of the team members.
∎ Continuous development of skills of his/her team, through identification of needs, training plans and weekly clinical supervision.
∎ Training on basic MHPSS.P skills for others ACF departments & specifically for Nutrition & Health team.
∎ Objective 4: To contribute to the quality and accountability processes, to the monitoring and evaluation of project's impact and to project's capitalization.
∎ Supervising the quality of the project implemented in line with the ACF technical standards.
∎ Closely monitoring & analysing projects data, supervising data entry & quality.
∎ Promoting and contributing to the evaluation of the impact of the project (internal needs assessments and external evaluation)
∎ Promoting and contributing to learning and improvement of quality (external evaluation, joint visits, etc.)
∎ Objective 5: To contribute to gender and protection mainstreaming, and specifically to SGBV and child protection activities development at base level.
∎ Ensuring gender and protection mainstreaming and monitoring (including GBV and child protection integration), into sectors, programmes and activities, by respecting ACF standards and monitoring these aspects with dedicated indicators.
∎ Support the MHPSS.P team and ACF teams in specific child protection and SGBV activities through trainings, supervisions and monitoring, as well as integrating gender and protection into MHPSS assessments and analysis.
∎ Assist to provide yearly income statement certificate to staff for submitting income tax return.
∎ Objective 6: To participate in external representation and coordination with ACF's partners in the area.
∎ For coordinating his/her activities with the other sectors and ACF departments for rationalized use of the resources and maximum integration.
∎ For participation at the request of the Country Director and the Field Coordinator to visits of donors
∎ For undertaking relationships with partners (mapping, identification and selection), authorities, agencies of the United Nations.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years of professional experience as a clinical psychologist and 1 year of field experience with humanitarian NGO. At least 1 year in a managerial role.
∎ Knowledge and experience on MHPSS and Protection in emergency and applying international guidelines for MHPSS.
∎ Experience working within nutrition programs. Strong training and supervisory skills, including clinical supervision.
∎ Substantial knowledge regarding programme management in the field.
∎ Knowledge of standard logistics, financial and HR procedures and practices. Strong computer and communication skills.
∎ High capacity of work, able to overcome stress and work under pressure, with high degree of flexibility.

Salary: Tk. 131000 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 02 basic salary per year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
∎ End of Contract Benefits: As per organization policy.
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
