Responsibilities & Context:
Provide daily outpatient consultation, prescribe medication, and offer medical advice to workers and staff.
Administer immediate first aid and emergency medical care to injured or critically ill patients.
Manage timely referrals of emergency cases to specialized nearby hospitals, ensuring proper notification and documentation are provided to factory management.
Supervise, mentor, and monitor the performance of medical assistants, nurses, and support staff.
Conduct pre-employment health screenings and medical examinations for new recruits.
Issue age verification certificates for candidates during the recruitment process in compliance with local labor laws.
Perform periodic, routine health checkups for factory workers and staff to monitor occupational health hazards.
Design and conduct health-related training programs to raise awareness about personal hygiene, ergonomics, safety protocols, and general health.
Regularly inspect the factory premises, including the canteen, drinking water supply, and washrooms, to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
Ensure compliance with national labor laws, factory acts, and occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations.
Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date medical records of all patient consultations, sicknesses, occupational injuries, and accidents.
Analyze medical and accident trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management aimed at minimizing workplace incidents.
Manage the inventory of the factory medical center, ensuring the continuous availability of essential medicines, first-aid kits, and emergency equipment.
