Job Context

Applications are invited on an urgent basis for this position in IAHS-H on the following terms and conditions: 

Responsibilities:

  • Providing clinical care by diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions and diseases;
  • Conducting thorough assessments, including physical exams and patient history, to determine appropriate treatment plans;
  • Developing and evaluating individualized treatment plans and ensuring that they are followed properly.
  • Monitoring patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient responses and evolving medical conditions.
  • Providing immediate care in emergency situations and stabilize patients for further treatment or transfer.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to medical ethics and legal standards.
  • Coordinating with other Depts and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Working closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
  • Providing advice to the patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Engaging in quality assurance activities and contributing to initiatives aimed at improving healthcare services.
  • Mentoring and training junior medical staff, including residents and interns.
  • Attending OPD/indoor patients / ward & cabins
  • Attending academic sessions, clinical classes, participate in departmental seminars as per instruction;
  • Carrying out tasks assigned by the competent authority.
