Experience:

• At least 1 years

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

• Minimum medical graduate having updated registration with Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.
• Diploma/Certificate course in USG.
• Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in providing Primary Health care through NGO clinics.

• At least 1 years

• Age at most 40 yrs. (as per NID Card).

• Minimum one year long job experience in relevant area after completion of a one-year internship with a renowned hospital.

• The applicant must be a non-smoker.

• Self-motivated, and energetic with time management skills.

• Attitude for working with the poor and the marginalized people.

• Smart and well-conversed with professionalism.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English & Bengali.

• Must possess the ability to work under pressure; should have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; should have a good command of both written and spoken English.

• Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in providing Primary Health care through NGO clinics.

• Should have competency in MS Office packages, email, and web browsing.

ASA, the largest microfinance organization in Bangladesh is providing healthcare services through its 85 primary health centers and 14 Integrated Health Centers as part of its corporate social responsibilities. We are currently seeking applications from eligible individuals to fill the position of Medical Officer for one of its Integrated Health Centers located in Netrokona. Further details are as below:

• A Medical Officer (MO) is an appropriately qualified and registered medical professional with knowledge and skills to provide personal, family, and community-orientated comprehensive primary healthcare and medical services to individuals at the clinic and field level. As a part of the team, s/he is responsible for providing patient-centered, culturally appropriate, and holistic care to the target population.

• Provide family planning services, with contraceptive advice and sexual/reproductive health services.

• Ensure immunization programs are made available to the target population.

• Prepare monthly reports, health center budgets, and drug requisitions on a regular basis.

• Supervise all staff under their own supervision (Physiotherapist, Medical Assistant & Paramedic, Medical Technologist, Counselor, Receptionist Cum Computer Operator and Health Assistants, etc.)

• Provide technical assistance to Paramedics, Lab technician, and Health assistants to improve their technical competencies.

• Ensure cleanliness of the health center as well as quality health service.

• Ensure effective and timely coordination and liaise with head office, govt., other stakeholders as and when required.

• Take initiative to improve client/patient satisfaction.

• Maintain proper documentation and records of all services and generate necessary reports as per office requirements.

• Undertake any other lawful responsibilities as assigned by the office/supervisor.

• Probation period will be 1 (one) year long. After successful completion of the probationary period, the employee will be accommodated in the regular Pay Scale of ASA.

• All admissible benefits like Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Yearly Increment, Festival Allowance, Naboborsho Allowance (Boishakhy) and Employee`s Group Benefit Fund will be attributed.
