Job Responsibilities:
∎ The role holder will support Christian Aid's response to the humanitarian crisis in Bangladesh with special focuses on monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning sector interventions. S/he will support Christian Aid's funded programmes which are implemented by Christian Aid and it partners in Cox's Bazar and others programme area. The role holder will assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of Christian Aid's MEAL & humanitarian response, providing effective and timely support (including capacity building) to liberated communities and partner organizations, enabling them to implement the rapid, effective and principled MEAL response to emergencies, and ensuring that this is in line with Christian Aid's country strategy and Humanitarian Standards. The role holder will be representing CAID in sector working groups meetings/activities and engage in the right networks, while increasing the profile of CA Humanitarian and resilience work and its visibility in the region.
∎ Key outcomes:
∎ Develop the MEAL framework for the project
∎ MEAL requirements of the WFP funded DRR/WB project are met with highest quality
∎ Timely execution of baseline end line studies, PDM studies and developing high standard report
∎ Regular consolidation of project participant/ beneficiary disaggregated data and feed back in to larger response database
∎ Support the project lead in developing timely project reports
∎ Concurrent monitoring of the project activities and provide feedback to the management on any corrective measures

Additional Requirements:
∎ Essential:
∎ The post holder should have a first degree in social sciences or Degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, biostatistics, engineering with 4-5 years' experience of working in humanitarian response with local and/international partner organizations.
∎ Strong positive attitude and ability to manage a wide range of issues of complicated procedures, indicated by 4-5 years learning period.
∎ At least a 5 years humanitarian response experience in MEAL programming. Familiar MEAL context in Bangladesh.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Excellent verbal and written fluency in English and Bangla.
∎ Desirable:
∎ Understanding on enterprise-based development work.
∎ Relevant experience in managing of institutional donor funded progrmmes (IOM/DEC/ DFID etc).

Salary:
∎ T9,42,057 gross per annum
