Job Responsibilities:
∎ The MEAL Coordinator will be responsible for leading on the design and implementation of the project MEAL system in coordination with MEAL representatives from Consortium Partners, and with support from the AHP Programme Manager and Save the Children's Senior MEAL Manager and MEAL Technical Advisor. The main responsibilities of this position will be but not limited to:

∎ Monitoring:
∎
∎ Support finalization of the design and lead the implementation of the project MEAL plan and Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT);
∎ Update the IPTT on a bi-weekly basis, and contribute to the updating of Save the Children's (SC) Response-level Output Tracker and equivalent mechanisms within other Consortium partners;
∎ Lead on reporting progress against the logframe and draft MEAL narrative sections of Awards reports, in coordination with Consortium partner MEAL staff and with support from SC's Senior MEAL Manager;
∎ contributing to Awards reporting related to the assigned sector;
∎ Lead the design and implementation of monitoring tools and processes, in coordination with Consortium partner MEAL staff and with support from the MEAL TA;
∎ Work with Management Information System (MIS) colleagues within SC and other Consortium partners to design and implement MIS/integrate AHP requirements into existing MIS, as required;
∎ Support roll out of Education- and Health-focused Quality Benchmarks (an SC internal quality/process monitoring tools) and equivalent tools used by other Consortium partners;
∎ Support SC and Consortium partner colleagues to ensure that monitoring data and related recommendations are used for decision-making to improve programme quality and address under-/over-achievement.
∎ Evaluation:

∎ Support the commissioning and management of the external evaluation of the project;
∎ Lead/contribute to the design and delivery of internal assessments and reviews, as required.
∎ Accountability:
∎
∎ Work with SC's Accountability team and their counterparts within other Consortium partners to support the design and implementation of effective Complaints Feedback and Response Mechanisms (CFRMs), including helpdesks and child friendly CFRMs.
∎ Learning:
∎
∎ Support finalization of and lead implementation of the project Learning Agenda - this will include the planning and delivery of a mid-term review workshop, a final internal lesson learned workshop to support the external evaluation, and other activities designed to capture, share and use learning to improve the quality of project design and implementation
∎ Capacity Building:
∎
∎ Lead a MEAL capacity assessment across all Consortium partners, including implementation partners;
∎ Lead the design and implementation of capacity building activities (including training, on the job coaching and other appropriate methods) for Consortium partner staff, volunteers and partner staff, to address gaps/weaknesses identified through the assessment;
∎ Promote a Consortium culture that values the importance of MEAL for improving programme quality.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least four years' experience of working in MEAL, ideally to include experience of operating in humanitarian contexts, and/or experience of MEAL related to health/education/WASH/protection/disability inclusion programming;
∎ Sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data collection, processing and analysis, including database management;
∎ Ability to develop and implement MEAL plans and IPTTs;
∎ Ability to produce clear, high quality, analytical and action-oriented reports;
∎ Experience of facilitating learning processes (for example, lesson learning workshops);
∎ Experience of building capacity in MEAL, including delivering training;
∎ Excellent communication and facilitation skills;
∎ Good spoken, reading and writing skills in English & Bangla;
∎ Excellent computer skills, including experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher;
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a strong team player, with flexibility to shift priorities and take on additional tasks at short notice.

The Project Manager-DRR and EiE is mainly responsible for the overall implementation, monitoring, and supervision of EiE and DRR activities in Multi Purpose Cyclone Shelter (MPCS) and adjacent communities. S/he will supervise Project Officer/Senior Project Officer- EiE and DRR to implementation of EiE and DRR interventions and maintain accountability of the project activities following Save the Children and core humanitarian Standard. S/he will also provide support and enhance the capacity of government, partners and respective project staffs, including overall monitor their activities. The incumbent will provide technical inputs into the development, implementation and monitoring of the project and maintain close coordination with Save the Children field unit and collaboration with implementing partners.
Qualifications and experience
* Minimum 6 years of working experience, preferably in Education in Emergency (EiE) response, recovery and rehabilitation including Disaster Risk Reduction, including 3 years in management position.
* Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects related to DRR and EiE for children and young people, with a policy influencing dimension and proven experience on managing large projects.
* Excellent capacity building skill, especially the partners
* Ability to work in any situation during emergency
* Skill on expenditure tracking and monitoring
* Excellent communication skills in English & Bangla with the ability to produce quality analytical reports
* Master’s Degree, preferably in Disaster Management/Development Studies or relevant fields
