Responsibilities & Context: Field Activities & Farmer Engagement:
- Conduct Individual Field Contacts (IFC): Meet 10-15 farmers daily, targeting 1,000 farmers per quarter.
- Organize Organized Farmer Meetings (OFM): Hold 2 weekly meetings with farmers identified through IFCs (25 meetings per quarter).
- Provide Crop Care Prescriptions: Offer pest management and crop care solutions tailored to farmers’ needs.
- Conduct Spot Farmer Meetings: Organize 2-3 spot meetings weekly (8-10 per month) to educate farmers on NAC products and their benefits.
Promotional Activities:
- Execute Field Demonstrations: Conduct 3 demonstrations per quarter to showcase product effectiveness.
- Distribute Promotional Items: Provide farmers with branded merchandise and educational materials.
- Organize Miking Campaigns: Promote upcoming events and products through audio campaigns in rural areas.
- Facilitate Haat Day Programs: Lead activities such as miking, MMM (Mobile Market Meetings), and product prescriptions to engage the farming community.
Market Analysis & Feedback Collection:
Collect data on:
- Crop pests, diseases, and regional cropping patterns.
- Market opportunities to support NAC’s product offerings.
Gather Farmer Feedback: Use input from farmers to improve products and services. Share actionable insights with the broader marketing team for strategy adjustments.
Monitor Competitor Activities: Track pricing, promotional efforts, and strategies of competing brands.
Relationship Management:
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with farmers to foster long-term loyalty to NAC products.
- Provide Technical Support: Address crop-related challenges and guide farmers on product usage and benefits.
Sales & Target Achievement:
- Achieve Monthly Sales Targets: Use direct farmer engagement and retailer collaboration to drive sales.
- Track and report: Sales performance, promotional campaign effectiveness, and emerging market trends to the Area Manager (Brand).
Budget Management:
- Effectively allocate and manage the regional marketing and promotional budget.
- Maximize the return on investment through strategic resource deployment.
Monitoring & Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market conditions, and campaign success.
- Share customer feedback and field insights with the head office for product improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams (digital marketing, product development, supply chain) to ensure alignment.
Field Visit and Gap Analysis for New Business Areas:
- Identify new business opportunities by conducting field visits and analyzing gaps in the market.
- Propose strategies to tap into new areas or expand Farmers relationships.
Provide and Collect Product Information:
- Provide farmers with detailed product information, features, and pricing details for NAC products.
- Collect information on competitors’ products, features, and pricing and share it with supervisors for analysis.
Product Display Maintenance:
- Arrange and maintain attractive product displays in retail outlets to attract customers and promote sales.
Compliance with Company Policies:
- Adhere to all company policies, including those related to security, safety, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and best practices during daily activities.
