Job Context:
∎ Resource Integration Centre (RIC), a national level development organization, invites applications from qualified candidates to fill up for the following positions for its Enhancing Food Security and Nutrition (EFSN) Project implementing in Ukhiya Upazila under Cox`s Bazar district with the technical and financial support by World Food Programme (WFP)
∎ Job Location: Ukhiya upazila, Cox`s Bazar district
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish and maintain a list of local enterprises in the targeted group of businesses;
∎ Identify the potential enterprises for market support.
∎ Facilitate Producer Groups to develop marketing plan and meet entrepreneurs for other technical needs.
∎ Planning, organization and marketing for local events "bazaars" that helps The Business Development Services to generate income and also increases the business opportunities;
∎ The MLO will also develop and organize market linkages plan that connects pre-identified buyers to EFSN clients;
∎ Suggest specific technical assistance strategy for concluding some business deals that can be sustained over time;
∎ Facilitate linkages between traders and beneficiaries and link producers to new market opportunities;
∎ Build the capacity of EFSN beneficiaries to fully understand the advantages of using linkages work with EFSN beneficiaries to create new and/or diversified market linkages;
∎ Training and coaching of EFSN beneficiaries to better understand and analyze their markets;
∎ Collaborate and maintain relationships with the private sector;
∎ Assist with the development of EFSN fair /exhibitions for EFSNbeneficiaries, assess, prepare, implement and monitor strategies to strengthen the beneficiaries' markets.
∎ Create liaison and good coordination with Government and non-government organization;
∎ Attend different meeting, training, workshop and other event activities;
∎ Field visit on regular basis in respective group and relevant areas;
∎ Regular field report to concern authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates should be needed motor cycle driving and valid license.
∎ Computer skills with Microsoft Excel
∎ Excellent communication skill with corporal business.
∎ Must be experienced
∎ Exemplary sales skills and customer service oriented approach
∎ Well versed in various areas of travel in field
∎ Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
∎ Minimum 6 years of experience where 2 years in business development or marketing;
∎ Fluency in Bangla and English;
∎ Ability to travel within project areas;
∎ Flexibility, adaptability, reliability;
∎ NGO sector marketing related business experience is in a plus;
∎ Value chain development analysis, marketing rural development participatory methods and organizational capacity building skills a plus;
∎ Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Salary: Tk. 60000 (Monthly)
