Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
∎ ITP, VAT Advisor and CA, ICMAB, ACCA Part Qualified
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accounts and audit, ERP, Income Tax and VAT, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Manufacturing (FMCG), Spinning, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure all the compliances of the Tax and VAT at all crucial points as per ITO 1984, VAT & SD Act AT Act 2012 (as Amended in 2019), and other directives from NBR or responsible authorities of the Government of Bangladesh.
∎ Serve as primary contact with external auditors, Consultants, Lawyers, and Legislative Authorities, and coordinate all financial matters with the board.
∎ Preparation of statements for annual Tax audit and Tax Return
∎ Ensuring issuance of Tax Invoice (Mushak-6.3) at every sales point
∎ Submission of Value Added Tax return (Mushak-9.1)
∎ Maintain all VAT-related registers and VAT return submission, and manage VAT as per Law and Regulation.
∎ Attend in hearing, assessment, and settlement of income tax legislative authorities
∎ Maintain good communication with the VAT commissioner, division office, circle office, etc.
∎ Check documents and prepare a monthly VAT return regularly
∎ To understand the transactions given the rules and regulations of VAT & SD Act 2012(as Amended in 2019)
∎ Familiar with automated VAT management systems, and capable to find out loopholes in the system
∎ Support management in arriving at profitability analysis, product pricing, project costing, budgeting, MIS, etc.
∎ Guide concerning accounts team in financial management, financial planning, budgeting, and controlling to obtain the highest service advantage at a minimum cost impact
∎ Withholding return submission and maintaining all kinds of tax documents reconciliation thereof.
∎ Advice top management about the overall financial position of all concerns of the group
∎ Actively participate in the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of the financial statement of the company
∎ To perform any other tasks as assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Have proven experience in Accounts/Finance/ Internal Audit for a reputed group of industries.
∎ Familiarity with productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
∎ Strong organizational skills.
∎ Positive attitude and good communication skills.
∎ Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
∎ Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
∎ Strong math and critical reasoning skills.
