∎ At least 10 years, among which 5 years as function lead. Sound track record in FMCG industries is a must, preferably in the Yarn and Textile industries.
∎ Resource management skills.
∎ Strong analytical and communication ability.Willingness to grow with the Company.
∎ Should be self-driven, result-oriented, and hard-working.
∎ Exceptionally well-organized with an aptitude for data
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Preparation of annual Management Financial Statements and audited financial statements for bank and incometax for the organization.
∎ Plan, organized, and directed all the activities of the cost accounting function.
∎ Development and maintenance of standard costs.
∎ Define policies and procedures for all cost accounting activities.
∎ Conduct cost analysis to identify areas where costs can be reduced or eliminated.
∎ Review expense reports to ensure that expenses are reasonable and appropriate for the circumstances.
∎ Coordinate with other departments such as Accounts & Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Distribution, Production, Engineering, etc. to ensure that all costs are accurately tracked.
∎ Collect cost data from Accounts/Supply Chain/Suppliers to track material costs.
∎ Evaluate requirements to provide vital resources, including financial, human, and physical resources as well.
∎ Visit and monitor distributors/retailers/factories to assess damage/wastage, and advise subsequently;
∎ Monitoring budgets to ensure that spending does not exceed approved levels.
∎ Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections.
∎ Proactive analysis of budget variances and communicate the issues and opportunities to the management;
∎ Corporate and individual income tax planning for future periods and Income tax planning for finalization of assessment of Companies and Individuals.
∎ Monitor legislative and regulatory Tax & VAT law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the Tax & VAT team, and create strategies to capitalize on changes to VAT &Taxation legislation.
∎ Continuously update VAT management policies and ensure compliance with VAT laws.
∎ Represent as a company representative for hearing, assessment & settlement of VAT-related issues with Govt. authorities and resolve for the best interest of the group.
∎ Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's Tax & VAT return and other tax documents.
∎ Ensure Tax and VAT deduction at sources as per Tax ordinance & VAT act.
∎ Face Audit Tax & VAT personnel and produce required documents.
∎ Regularly train coworkers on changes in Tax and VAT laws.
∎ Provide support with various internal audits and special Tax & VAT-related projects.
∎ Analyze transactions to determine the correct VAT settlement.
∎ Perform any other duty as directed by the Management.
