• Certification/ Course: Any Certification related to VAT, Tax & Supply Chain Management will be preferred.
• Experience: 8 to 10 years in a relevant role.

A well-reputed manufacturing company Bangla Engineering Group urgently needs a VAT and TAX-related Manager. This position will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with VAT regulations, preparing & submitting VAT returns, overseeing all aspects of VAT, Tax, and other relevant tax matters and staying up to date with tax laws.

Job Location: The position is based at both the Head Office in Dhaka and the Factory in Gazipur

Responsibilities & Context:

• Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, and other regulatory requirements under Bangladesh law.

• Prepare and file monthly VAT returns, annual income tax returns, and other NBR filings.

• Manage tax deduction at source (TDS) and ensure proper record-keeping.

• Liaise with NBR, VAT offices, and external auditors.

• Assist management in tax planning and reducing tax burden within legal frameworks.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT & Tax changes in Bangladesh regulations.

• Support the Finance & Accounts team in audits, assessments, and regulatory hearings.
