  • Minimum 3 years working experience in NGOs, UN agency or international development organization including 1 year experience in the Hospital Management/ Health project or programme. Experience of working at Urban innovations, management of large-scale health programmes/projects will be added benefit.

Job Purpose

Oversee and implement the pilot for Urban Health Care & Diagnostic center in selected location, provide technical guidance & support for all operational activities, coordinate with other implementer/stakeholders to achieve program goals & objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the establishment and operations of clinical facilities or outreach programs as defined and assigned from time to time.

  • Provide technical and administrative support for designing and initiating pilot projects in collaboration with BRAC finance and others department.

  • Support to establish collaboration with relevant stakeholder, i.e. Ministry of Health/ LG&ERD to set up and maintain standard health facility and ensure strategic support for smooth implementation of health interventions.

  • Management and strategic decision-making, oversight the operational progress to ensure alignment with BRAC’s goals and objectives. Maintain the govt health regulations procedure like various liscenching procedure, approval from drug administration etc.

  • Assist in preparing AOP, developing programme specific guidelines, standard operating procedures, forms and formats to document programme activities and communication materials.

  • Oversee the integration of SMART technology across field operation.

  • Reviewing periodic operational activities and audits to assess compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations relevant to BRAC and evaluate the effectiveness of internal operational practices.

  • Reviewing periodic financial audit of the grantee to appraise the financial performance for a particular period and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Upholding teamwork and group dynamics with staff management like hiring, transfer and performance appraisal etc.

  • Assist in preparing project proposals, budget, reports and necessary documents for management, developing partners, or others as needed.

  • Monitor the use of diagnostic services, facilities, and staff to ensure effective use of resources.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
