Responsibilities & Context:

• Establishment, implementation, and maintenance of an effective Pharmaceutical Quality system (PQS).

• Oversight and approval of GMP-related documents including SOPs, BMRs, BPRs, protocols and reports.

• Review and approval of deviations, OOS/OOT, change controls, risk assessments and CAPA.

• Final disposition decisions for starting materials, packing materials, intermediates, bulk and finished products.

• Oversight of process validation, cleaning validation, qualification activates an continued process verification.

• Approval, control, and review of analytical methods, specifications, test procedures, and standard operating procedures.

• Oversight of sampling, testing and release of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, bulk and fished products.

• Review, investigation and approval of OOS,OOT, laboratory deviations and related CAPA.

• Ensuring qualification, calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.

• Oversight of method validation, verification and transfer activities.

• Ensuring compliance with data integrity principles, documentation practices and laboratory GMP requirements.

• Approval and monitoring of stability studies and review of stability data.

• Ensuring adequate training and GMP competence of QC personnel.

• Support to internal audits, self-inspections and regulatory inspections.
