Responsibilities & Context:

Position Summary:

The Head of Security will be responsible for overseeing all security operations within the organization, ensuring the safety and protection of personnel, property, and information. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise, with a focus on preventing security breaches, responding to incidents, and maintaining a safe working environment. The individual must have experience working in a manufacturing giant for at least three years and have served as an Army Captain or equivalent in other defense services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive security framework to protect the company's assets and infrastructure.

  • Designing and implementing security policies, procedures and protocols to mitigate risks and maintain a secure environment.

  • Investigating and monitoring incident response activities, including investigations, root cause analysis and developing corrective actions.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess risks, identify vulnerabilities and devise preventive measures.

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, intelligence associations and industry associations.

  • Leading security awareness programs and training initiatives to educate employees about best practices and potential threats.
