Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze local market trends and develop new business lead
∎ Possessing own rich database of target clients for hotels/banquets
∎ Strong interpersonal skill, honesty and integrity is highly expected
∎ Reliable track record in carrying out hotel/banquet marketing activities successfully.
∎ Self- motivated and ready to perform door to door approach to market the facilities offered by the hotel
∎ Ability to convert maximum sales calls into actual business
∎ Have knowledge about the competitors and assist the General Manager in working out the strategies to acquire business
∎ Extensive knowledge of local market (key corporate accounts in the vicinity of Gulshan and Banani area along with accounts that prefers to book hotel rooms for their guests in the similar category hotels in Gulshan/Banani area.
∎ Maximize all Revenue opportunities
∎ Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, and manage the departments adherence to achieving that strategy
∎ Understand the competitive market place and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market
∎ Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients as per set guidelines from the management.
∎ Ensure the Sales Team Members are developed effectively and generate a culture of high quality standards and pro-active selling
∎ Develop and implement creative local marketing channels including social media sites
∎ Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities
∎ Communicate with all departments as required within the hotel
∎ Attend Sales events when required
∎ Report on a daily/weekly/monthly basis on appointments, calls made, and list of business leads to the General Manager.
∎ Answer customer queries in a timely and suitable manner
∎ Positive attitude and good communication skills
∎ Excellent grooming standards
∎ Excellent organizational and planning skills
∎ Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
∎ Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
∎ Previous experience in sales role with the ability to close a sale
∎ Strong leadership skills, whereas it is evident that you can effectively manage and motivate a team to perform beyond expectations
∎ Strong analytical skills so to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Only Hotel Sector Experience will be accepted.
∎ Must have good command over English language
∎ Sound health and willing to undertake extensive market visit
∎ Computer literacy
