Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Manager - Operations and Value Chain shares in the overall responsibility for the implementation, direction and coordination of the all three components of GFA (General Food Assistance) program.
∎ This position will be mainly responsible for implementation of in-kind food distribution, e-voucher operations & Farmers Market through partnership process and mobile food distribution in the camp areas.
∎ S/he will be responsible for effective Commodity management of GFD (in-kind) part in coordination with WFP & Implementing partner. S/he will work closely with WFP Team And Implementing Partner (YPSA) for regular coordination and maintain liaison with respective Govt. officials, camp in-charge and other actors working in the camp areas.
∎ The Manager Operations will also ensure Partner team are capable enough to work smoothly with quality.
∎ Ensure Partners uses updated & authentic Bene. database and ensure all reports, including Daily/Monthly/Quarterly reports are prepared on time with quality to send to WFP.
∎ The Manager will assist on program development, budget preparation and expenditure, as well as overall responsible for ensuring smooth and effective program operations by arranging all required support services and making resources available to achieve program goals.
∎ S/he will lead the program support teams (Finance, HR, Admin, IT etc.) and provide support on every day operations, including efficient and cost effective use of all resources.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 06 years working experience, preferably in Commodity Management, community mobilization & food security livelihood and Value chain.
∎ Demonstrated experience in partnership with UN agencies, national and International NGOs/GOB in camps will be preferred.
∎ Sound knowledge on humanitarian compliances, operation modalities of UN agencies is required
∎ Excellent management skills
∎ Excellent in team work and networking
∎ Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel and Internet
∎ Excellent communication skills both in English and Bangla
