Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Geography and Environment/ Disaster Management/ Economics/ Business studies/ Social Science or any relevant subject from recognised University or Institution

∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop programmatic plan of action in alignment with organisational strategic priorities and in close collaboration with the management and team
∎ Establish strategic partnerships and networks with knowledge-based organisations and institutions to facilitate access to emerging knowledge, innovations and evidences
∎ Develop research and innovation proposal and implement new projects that can improve the efficiency of the programme through the use of information systems
∎ Ensure the promotion of new knowledge and learning through different communication channels, campaign, social media in collaboration with the communication department
∎ Assist to develop strategic alliances with policymakers, media, and government for policy advocacy and communication
∎ Coordinate all database issues; produce materials supporting evidence-based decision-making, including data analysis and visualisation products for proposals, contracted delivery and learning events
∎ Archiving best practices and evidences of different projects
∎ Coordinate with early warning team maintain the information flow from field level to the central level
∎ Publish articles, blogs, journal paper, research reports and others
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 05 (five) years of experience is required. Candidates having experience in the design and delivery of adult learning techniques, research, coaching and mentoring activities, particularly replication of best practices in the field of project management and participatory learning methodology will get preference
∎ Sound knowledge of the principles of data analysis and relational databases, online data repositories and content management systems
∎ Good understanding of project-based impact assessment, outcome-based evaluation, database layout and analysis framework development
∎ Able to source information using the web and/or web-based databases
∎ Strong skills in statistical and qualitative data analysis by using SPSS/STATA/Atlas software application
∎ Have ICT skills in PowerPoint, MiniTab, Nvivo, Knowledge Tree etc.
∎ Ability to think strategically and carry out assigned tasks independently
∎ Demonstrated ability to work in a team and to develop networks and collaborations accordingly
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Bengali and English
