Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor Degree from any discipline, preferable in hotel management.
∎ Diploma in Hotel Management would be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to ensure smooth functionality of housekeeping, physical environment unit and laundry department with a high quality of standard.
∎ Ensure that all the in charges, supervisor are performing their job properly.
∎ Ensure cleaning services of all patient's room, all offices, doctors' room, corridors, lobby area, elevators, conferences of the hospital, mosque, general toilets, car parking and all other areas of entrance of the hospital by out sources house cleaners.
∎ Plan, coordinate, roaster preparation, leave management of housekeeping, physical environment, cleaning, infection control.
∎ Coordinate with the in charge physical environment unit and housekeeping supervisors and follow up their activities.
∎ Responsible for ensuring smooth of clean tidy linen to all floors in coordination with supervisor laundry, purchase and store department.
∎ Fully receptive and supportive in the activities that contribute towards continuous improvement of the housekeeping department.
∎ Ensure maintaining all sorts of furniture and fixtures of the hospital in a proper way.
∎ Assist to develop, implement and review all policies and procedures for the housekeeping, laundry, cleaning, waste management, infection control and physical environment unit.
∎ Maintain up to date knowledge and practice of housekeeping trends and new developments in the field.
∎ Examine and reevaluate existing contract of vendors and suppliers of housekeeping.
∎ Making sitting arrangements for CME, training, seminar etc. in coordination with respective departments.
∎ Ensure training of housekeeping, cleaning & laundry staff in coordination with HRD.
∎ Evaluates the performance of suppliers and contractors related to housekeeping, cleaning, waste management and laundry service.
∎ Maintain comprehensive records of housekeeping services of the hospital.
∎ Ensure different sort of housekeeping requirement from different department and units are being addressed with utmost urgency and promptness.
∎ Ensure functioning of all Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Sanitary and HVAC items with in the room, ward and cabins in coordination with EME department.
∎ Carry out any other function /administrative task assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s) professional experience in any organization preferably in Health Care/Hotel Industry.
∎ Must have excellent presentation skills and good personality
∎ Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with good understanding of emotional intelligence.
∎ Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
∎ Excellent oral & Written communication skills with strong command in MS Excel & MS Word
