Education:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
∎ Partly completed CA/ICMA/ACCA/CMA is preferable.

∎ Proven experience in finance and accounting roles within the international trading industry, with specific knowledge of LC transactions and commercial operations.
∎ Strong understanding of international trade finance instruments, including LCs, documentary collections, and bank guarantees.
∎ Familiarity with trade regulations and compliance requirements in international markets.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
∎ Effective leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
∎ Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee all financial operations related to international trading activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
∎ Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
∎ Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regulations.
∎ Manage Letters of Credit (LC) transactions, including opening, amending, and negotiating LC terms with banks and counterparties.
∎ Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to facilitate trade financing, including documentary collections and bank guarantees.
∎ Oversee commercial transactions, including sales contracts, purchase orders, and invoicing.
∎ Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of commercial documents.
∎ Monitor payment schedules and collections to optimize cash flow and minimize credit risk.
∎ Identify and assess financial risks associated with international trading, including currency risk, credit risk, and market risk.
∎ Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and professional development.
∎ Monitor market trends and economic indicators to anticipate potential risks and opportunities.
