Strong experience in woven fabric dyeing, shade matching, dyeing processes, chemicals, and production management.
Experience in reactive, vat, pigment, disperse, or other relevant dyeing processes will be preferred.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing and supervising the overall woven fabric dyeing operations, ensuring production efficiency, consistent quality, timely delivery, and optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and chemicals.
Job Description / Responsibility:
Plan, manage, and monitor daily woven dyeing production activities.
Ensure fabric dyeing is completed as per approved quality standards, shade, and customer requirements.
Develop and monitor dyeing processes, recipes, and parameters for different fabric qualities.
Ensure proper shade matching, lab-dip approval, and bulk production consistency.
Monitor machine performance, production efficiency, and dyeing capacity utilization.
Control chemical and dye consumption to minimize production costs and wastage.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Lab, Planning, Finishing, and Merchandising teams for smooth operations.
Troubleshoot dyeing, shade, washing, and finishing-related problems and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and chemical management standards.
Monitor production wastage, reprocessing, rejection, and process losses.
Lead and develop the dyeing team to achieve production and quality targets.
Prepare and analyze production, efficiency, rejection, and performance reports.
Ensure preventive maintenance and proper utilization of dyeing machinery in coordination with the maintenance team.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Experience:
10+ years of relevant experience in textile woven dyeing.
