Responsibilities & Context:
- Checking terms and conditions of the given PI carefully whether the goods description, HS Code are correct and available in our bond license.
- Setting BB L/C terms & conditions as per requirements of country’s import policy and our policy.
- Preparation of all types of local/foreign BTB and cash L/Cs.
- Insurance Cover note & Policy collection with following Company policy & preparation of any kind of claim-related documents.
- Preparation of documents/papers for BGMEA/CCI &E certificate Bank guarantee in order to release of Capital, Machinery/Spare Parts and undertaken.
- Regular monitoring & tracking of various stages of Import/Port.
- IP issue from the competent authority.
- Closely monitor Import Delivery and follow up to avoid any issues.
- Import release/Delivery as per factory urgency, in-house with avoiding any type of demurrage/extra charges, as well as payment follow-up as per L/C terms.
- Strongly Handle Transport, Forwarder, C & F and Courier.
- Import related all kind of register/Pass Book entry update & sign (if required).
- Negotiation with suppliers for commercial issues like L/C clause, Payment, acceptance, Payment etc.
- Monitoring Spare parts, Machinery, Undertaken/indemnity on time release under SRO facility.
- Liaison with Bank regarding Bill of Entry overdue extension and on time LC opening
- Monitoring everyday fund in various lien banks and synchronizing fund for payment of BTB L/C, Cash L/C and term loan.
- Ability to develop commercial activities with using modern technology, to achieved company goals & objectives.
- Supervise the team who are working on import & deliver business-related functions.
- Should have clear knowledge of current rules & regulations of customs Import Policy Order, UPDC-600, HS code & Incoterms -2020.
- Accept extra duties as the situation demands and work efficiently and calmly.
- Must have vast knowledge of UD, Inter bond, Bond transfer
