Job Context:
∎ This position will be responsible for all accounts and financial functionalities of a unit of Rider Leather Bags & Luggage Factory Ltd. business segment.
∎ Asst.Manager / Manager, Accounts & Finance will oversee the accounting functions with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of business performance, financial statements & reporting. He will have one direct and several indirect reports and will work to allocate tasks evenly across the team.
∎ Job Location: Factory Premises at Ashuganj, Brahmanbaria
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation of Financial Statement, Reports, MIS, annual Budget and Forecast cash flow within a target time;
∎ Supervise to maintain fixed assets, inventories, receivable, payable and general accounting function etc. of the Company;
∎ Monitoring routine jobs like voucher entry, bill processing, cash handling, party payments etc.; Through knowledge and application of cost control including standard costing, variance analysis;
∎ Prepare, review, and analyze monthly and yearly financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
∎ Prepare and submit required returns regarding Income Tax & VAT to the respective authorities;
∎ Check and verify sales invoice and supply bills;
∎ Checking all bank transactions and bank reconciliations;
∎ To verify bill, voucher supplier ledger, utility bill register, advance register cash book & other subsidiary ledgers;
∎ Check accuracy salary disbursement, bills, vouchers, party payment, etc.
∎ Develop Internal Control;
∎ Communicating and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions on financial matter;
∎ Financial risk management and strategic plans to grow account;
∎ Perform any other related jobs assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s).
∎ Accounting and Finance, Candidate from retail industries will get preference.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s).
∎ Retail industries, Boutique house,
∎ Thorough knowledge of accounting standard, tax and VAT.
∎ High attention to detail and accuracy.
∎ Must be experienced in accounting software like SAP, Tally, ERP etc.
∎ Convert company's manual accounting system into an automated one using ERP/ Tally.
∎ Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
∎ Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
∎ Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
∎ Good Communication skills in both English & Bengali.
