Experience:

• Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Accounting
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
• Master of Business Management (MBM) in Accounting

• Professional qualification such as CA (CC), ACCA, CMA or equivalent will be strongly preferred.

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Group of Companies, Spinning

• Age At least 35 years
• Only Male

• Must have substantial experience in a reputed export-oriented RMG factory/company.

• Experience managing accounts and finance operations of a large-scale garment factory with 20+ production lines will be strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in factory accounting, costing, inventory accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.

• Experience in outerwear garments manufacturing and production costing will be an added advantage.

• Experience with ERP-based accounting and financial management systems.

• Proven experience in audit, VAT, tax, statutory compliance and financial control.

• Candidates with experience in reputed export-oriented RMG factories in Bangladesh will be strongly preferred.

Position Purpose

To manage and control the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of a 20-line outerwear garments manufacturing facility, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, timely statutory compliance and proper monitoring of factory costs and financial transactions. The position will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll-related accounting, inventory accounting, factory costing, bank and cash management, financial reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

• Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, bank and other accounting records.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Monitor factory expenses, production costs, overheads and budget performance.

• Manage bank reconciliation, cash flow, petty cash, advances and other financial transactions.

• Review supplier invoices, payments, employee-related payments and supporting documents.

• Ensure proper accounting of fabrics, trims, accessories, work-in-process and finished goods inventory.

• Coordinate with Store, Procurement and Production teams for inventory reconciliation and variance analysis.

• Monitor garment production costing, standard cost, actual cost and production cost variances.

• Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of export-related transactions, LC, commercial documents and export proceeds in coordination with Commercial.

• Ensure timely submission of VAT, tax, withholding tax and other applicable statutory requirements in coordination with relevant teams.

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial and management reports for senior management.

• Perform any other accounts and finance-related responsibilities assigned by management.
