Job Responsibilities:
∎ Financial Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the group,
∎ including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure compliance with
∎ accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
∎ Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets,
∎ income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior
∎ management for informed decision-making.
∎ Cost Control and Analysis: Monitor expenses and implement cost control measures to optimize
∎ operational efficiency. Conduct regular cost analysis and recommend strategies for cost reduction
∎ without compromising quality.
∎ Income Tax, VAT and other Compliance: Ensure compliance with all Income Tax, VAT, and
∎ Companies Act and other laws and regulations. Coordinate with external consultants and respective
∎ authorities for timely and accurate preparation and submission of those returns.
∎ Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and working capital effectively to support daily
∎ operations and growth initiatives. Implement cash management strategies and optimize banking
∎ relationships.
∎ Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans
∎ in collaboration with the executive team. Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations
∎ for improvement.
∎ Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
∎ Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
∎ Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, providing guidance, support,
∎ and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative work environment and
∎ promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accountancy roles.
∎ Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
∎ Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
∎ Familiarity with taxation, VAT laws and compliance requirements.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Strong leadership and team management abilities.
∎ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
