Job Context:
∎ Report to: Chief Financial Officer
∎ Position Summary:
∎ We are looking for a knowledgeable Manager (Accounts), ERP who can lead and motivate accounting staff members and increase department accuracy and efficiency. The Manager (Accounts) will delegate, supervise and participate in accounting department tasks, oversee the recording, tracking and reporting of financial information, train, and motivate accounting staff members, develop and implement department controls and procedures, and ensure that the department operates efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.
∎ To succeed as a Manager (Accounts), you should be analytical, detail-oriented, and honest. The ideal Manager (Accounts) should possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as a strong understanding of accounting and management principles and financial legislation.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
∎ Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
∎ Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
∎ Ensuring that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation.
∎ Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
∎ Resolving critical SAP development issues such as, research, develop, and propose both short and long term solutions to SAP system requirements.
∎ Support the management in arriving at profitability analysis, product pricing, project costing, budgeting, MIS etc.
∎ Track and ensure recovery all accounts payable within and outside the organization.
∎ Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
∎ Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
∎ Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
∎ Support month-end and year-end close process.
∎ Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
∎ Manage and comply with local, state, and government reporting requirements and tax filings.
∎ Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
∎ Commit to maximizing efficiency at all levels without compromising quality and Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures.
∎ Prepare the daily and monthly cost report department in relation to cost of sales.
∎ Spot check on the receiving department to ensure that the scales are correct and goods are checked for quality.
∎ Maintain vendor and service provider relationships and Keep up to date on new vendors and possible cost-cutting partnerships.
∎ All other duties as directed by the Higher Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 8+ years of overall combined accounting, finance and auditing experience. (Essential)
∎ Experience in SAP or relevant software. (Essential)
∎ Business experience in supporting SAP FICO module (Developments, Testing, Documentation).
∎ CA or CMA or ACCA or relevant qualification
∎ Skills:
∎ Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, SAP, and other financial planning software.
∎ Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
∎ Good Knowledge of Accounting Cash Management, Cost Accounting Cost Center, Cost Element.
∎ Understanding of cross module integration
∎ Strong leadership qualities.
∎ Exceptional organizational skills.
∎ Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
∎ Auditing experience.
∎ Compliance oriented.
∎ Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
∎ Attention to detail.
∎ Ability to work independently and under pressure whilst prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
∎ Knowledge and Understanding:
∎ Budget management.
∎ Strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency.
∎ Stock control
∎ Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
∎ Other requirements
∎ Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays subject to rota and a willingness to extend of change hours and days of work from time to time upon request and subject to operational requirements.
∎ Skills Required: Related Field.
