Responsibilities & Context:
∎ As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation, distribution, and logistics operations to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods and materials. You will work closely with suppliers, carriers, warehouse personnel, and internal stakeholders to optimize logistics processes and meet customer requirements.
∎ Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to arrange transportation logistics, negotiate rates, and coordinate shipment details.
∎ Track and monitor shipments in transit, providing real-time updates to internal stakeholders and customers on delivery status and estimated arrival times.
∎ Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and timely loading, unloading, and storage of goods, optimizing warehouse space and inventory levels.
∎ Responsible for identifying and fixing shipping errors·
∎ Prepare bills and invoices
