Responsibilities & Context:
- This role involves managing logistics personnel, optimizing routes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. You will ensure the efficient movement of goods, materials, and equipment to meet customer demands and support business objectives.
- Coordinate logistics for field operations, including transportation and accommodation.
- Manage the distribution of materials and supplies to field sites.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operation and support for field activities.
- Plan and coordinate logistics operations in the field, including transportation, distribution, and storage of goods.
- Develop and maintain logistics plans to support field operations and project activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of supplies and materials to various field locations.
- Ensure vehicles and transportation equipment are maintained and in good working condition.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with organizational policies, donor requirements, and local regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to protect staff and assets.
