We are searching for an experienced Local Coordinator for Project Start Up- Bangladesh IAF at our Dhaka facility. 

Background:

To facilitate a smooth start-up phase, Palladium is seeking a local coordinator to provide administrative support in Bangladesh. This consultant will assist in the preparation of groundwork prior to the arrival of the project management unit team, in addition to providing support to the team during their time in-country.

Objectives:

The primary objective of this consultancy is to provide administrative support during the initial phase of the project start-up. This includes supporting activity coordination, identifying potential vendors, and ensuring that all preparatory work is completed efficiently.

Duration: This consultancy is expected to last for three months, commencing from 25-July-2024 to 25-October-2024.

Scope of Work:

I. Administrative Support:

• Collecting the necessary information from potential vendors including pricing lists and details required for payment processing. 

• Assist in setting up the project office, including procurement of necessary office supplies and equipment.

• Organize and maintain project records, ensuring they are updated and accessible.

II. Pre-Arrival Preparations:

• Conduct preliminary groundwork to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place before the arrival of the project management unit team.

• Identify and engage with potential vendors for long-term agreements related to IT support, office equipment, travel logistics, and other necessary services.

• Assist in the evaluation and selection of these vendors based on criteria provided by the project management unit team.

• Coordinate logistical arrangements such as office space, accommodation, and transportation for the incoming team.

• Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Project Director

Reporting: The consultant will report to the Project Manager and provide regular updates on the progress of the assigned tasks.
