Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Law (LLB), Master of Law (LLM)

Job Context:
∎ An international Organization working with the Law enforcement agencies to rescue victims of slavery, bring criminal networks to justice and spark systemic change. We restore lives, secure communities at risk from traffickers
∎ The Legal Officers are responsible to report the Legal Adviser, assigned by Ministry of Home Affairs to expedite pending HT cases
∎ Duration of the contract: 1 year (renewal of contract based on performance)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To Develop and maintain a data base on Human Trafficking cases pending at "Manob Pachar Oporadh Domon Tribunal"
∎ Review and analyse pending HT cases to come up with effective recommendations to support the Legal Adviser enabling him to seek systemic actions from the MHA and relevant agencies
∎ Organize meeting with PP / SPP /DC/ Tribunal Judges, police officials and to identify bottlenecks on quick and effective trial of human trafficking cases
∎ Review and analyse pending HT cases to identify materials lacking in the investigation and consult with legal adviser enabling him to do the needful for taking necessary steps.
∎ Creating a coordination platform at District and national level for expediting prosecution process of HT cases

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent command of English writing and speaking.

Salary:
∎ Remuneration: 60,000 to 70,000 per month
