Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Preparation and conduction of examinations, evaluation of student progress, and maintenance records of student’s classroom and clinical performance.
∎ Preparation of course materials such as session plan, homework, assignments, and handouts.
∎ Preparation and delivery of lectures for undergraduate and/or graduate students on nursing subjects.
∎ Cooperates with medical and nursing personnel in evaluating and improving teaching and nursing practices.
∎ Supervision of students’ laboratory and clinical work.
∎ Evaluation and grade students’ class work, laboratory and clinical work, assignments, and papers.
∎ Collaboration with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.
∎ Plan, evaluate, and revise curriculum, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
∎ Maintenance of student’s attendance records, grades, and other required records.
∎ Supervision of undergraduate and/or graduate teaching, internship, and research work.
∎ Conduction of research in a particular field of knowledge, and publish findings in professional journals, books, and/or electronic media.
∎ Participation in student recruitment, registration, and placement activities.
∎ Provide service on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.
∎ Performance of administrative duties such as serving as department head.
