• 5+ years of experience in teaching at the HSC or equivalent level is preferred.
• National teacher registration certification is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of the Bangladesh Higher Secondary English syllabus and board exam requirements.

M. A. Majid Science College is inviting applications for the position of Lecturer - English to join our esteemed institution. We are dedicated to fostering a nurturing academic environment for our students, helping them excel in the Higher Secondary Board exams and beyond.

The selected individual will not only teach English to HSC students but will also be instrumental in developing their communication skills, ensuring they achieve A+ grades while becoming proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Overview of the responsibilities :

Teaching and Curriculum Delivery: 

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in English, aligned with the HSC curriculum.

• Utilize innovative teaching methodologies to cater to students' varying language proficiencies.

Student Development and Support:

• Identify individual weaknesses in English and tailor strategies for improvement.

• Conduct additional grooming sessions to enhance students' speaking, writing, and reading skills.

• Mentor students to develop their confidence in using English as a second language.

Assessment and Preparation:

• Prepare students rigorously for HSC board exams, ensuring they achieve benchmark scores (A+ grades).

• Conduct regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain student performance records.

Classroom and Resource Management:

• Maintain discipline and a conducive learning environment in the classroom.

• Use technology and multimedia resources to make lessons interactive and effective.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate closely with colleagues to share best practices and ensure a cohesive academic approach.

• Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Key Requirements:

• Excellent command of English with a strong grasp of grammar, vocabulary, and composition.

• Ability to inspire and engage students with varying levels of language proficiency.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.·        

• Passion for teaching and nurturing students' overall growth.

Nice to have Requirements:

• Familiarity with digital teaching tools and resources to enhance student learning.

• Experience in preparing students for national or international English proficiency tests.

• Ability to organize extracurricular activities that improve language skills (e.g., debates, public speaking).
