  • Knowledge of school administrative processes and national educational regulations.

  • Hands-on experience with MS Office and education management systems is a plus.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Great presentation and communication skills.

  • Crisis management.

  • Ability to coach and inspire.



Responsibilities & Context:

M. A. Majid Science College, under the guidance of the esteemed Begum Nesa Majid Foundation, is currently in search of a dedicated and qualified individual to serve as Principal. The ideal candidate will possess the requisite educational credentials and follow all national employment regulations provided by government authorities. As the educational leader of our institution, the Principal will play a pivotal role in fostering academic excellence, promoting a conducive learning environment, and upholding the values andmission of our esteemed college.

  1. Academic Leadership & Supervision

  • Ensure effective implementation of the National Curriculum (Science, Humanities, and Business Studies) aligned with HSC standards.

  • Supervise teachers and educational staff, monitoring teachingactivities, lesson plans, and academic schedules.

  • Track student performance, set academic improvement strategies, and promote a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

  • Set clear performance objectives for both students and staff in line with institutional goals.

2. Administrative & Operational Management

  • Manage daily operations of the college, including staffing, budgeting, infrastructure, and resource allocation.

  • Implement and monitor college policies, safety protocols, and administrative procedures.

  • Maintain discipline among students and staff and oversee employee records and policy compliance.

  • Coordinate with education boards and authorities for examinations, inspections, and regulatory matters.

3. Resource & Budget Management

  • Plan and manage the college budget effectively, ensuring financial accountability.

  • Research and procure new academic materials, resources, and technology to enhance the teaching-learning environment.

  • Present performance reports and data to the governing body or board of directors.

4. Staff Recruitment & Development

  • Lead the recruitment, evaluation, and supervision of both teaching and non-teaching staff.

  • Provide mentorship, support, and counseling to faculty members.

  • Organize regular training, workshops, and professional development initiatives to foster growth and innovation.

  • Promote a collaborative and motivated work culture among staff.

5. Student Affairs & Campus Life

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.

  • Oversee co-curricular and extracurricular activities that support student development and well-being.

  • Implement scholarships and financial aid programs to support meritorious and underprivileged students.

  • Maintain active communication with students and parents regarding academic progress and behavioral matters.

6. Safety, Environment & Emergency Handling

  • Ensure that the campus remains clean, safe, and conducive to learning.

  • Oversee regular maintenance of college grounds, classrooms, hostels, and other facilities.

  • Handle emergencies, campus crises, and enforce safety rules and protocols.

7. Communication & Community Engagement

  • Maintain strong liaison with the education board, governing bodies, and local authorities.

  • Represent the college in public forums, educational fairs, and official events.

  • Promote the college’s image and reputation through strategic outreach, public relations, and community engagement.
