Education:

• Educational Requirements for the post of Lecturer

• B.Sc. Hon’s/Master’s in Textile Engineering or Textile Engineering & Management for the department of AMM and 4 years Hon’s. with Master`s degree in FD/FDT for the department of FD from a reputed University.

• Must have at least 03 x First Class/Division/A Grade in the entire educational credentials

• Having teaching experience at university level will get preference.

• No Third Division/Class/ C Grade is acceptable.

• Educational Requirements for the post of Assistant Professor

• B.Sc. Hon’s with M.Sc. in Textile Engineering or Textile Engineering & Management for AMM department and 4 years Hon’s with Master`s degree in FD/FDT for FD department from a reputed University.

• Must have at least 03 x First Class/Division/A Grade in the entire educational credentials

• At least 03 years of teaching experience at university level and must have 02 publications

• OR.

• M.Phil. in TE/ TEM/FDT/FD with minimum two First Class/Division/A Grade.

• At least 03 years of teaching experience at university level and must have 01 publication

• No Third Division/Class/ C Grade is acceptable.

• OR.

• Ph.D. in TE/TEM/ FDT/FD with minimum two First Class/Division/A Grade.

• At least 02 years of teaching experience at university level and must have 01 publication

• No Third Division/Class/ C Grade is acceptable.

Context

Chattogram BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (CBUFT) is a Govt. and UGC approved private university, committed to creating skills for better tomorrow, located at BGMEA Bhaban, South Khulshi, Chattogram. Initially, it is offering four bachelor`s programs and MBA in Apparel Merchandising under two faculties. Faculty of Fashion & Apparel Design (FFAD) and Faculty of Clothing & Fashion Technology (FCFT). Both the Faculties want their Full time faculty members with excellent academic and professional background in the following departments:

Departments: 1) Apparel Merchandising & Management (AMM)

2) Fashion Design (FD)

Job Responsibilities

• CBUFT seeks applications for the post of Lecturer/ Assistant Professor of the above mentioned departments where the successful candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:

• To teach undergraduate courses as per approved OBE curricula & guidelines of the university in the areas of AMM/TCT/FD/FDT/

• To provide quality service and leaderships to the Departments.

• To contribute in research through a good number of quality publications.

• In the field of teaching, the successful candidates will share their knowledge to the undergraduate level in an innovative and professional manner.

• To make sure that teaching content is accurately informed for current time and for the fourth industrial revolution when new technology will be a must.

• To develop pedagogical techniques designed to meet the needs of the diverse learning styles and intellectual interests.

• Any other duties assigned by the University Authority.
