Job Responsibilities:
∎ Transcribe handwritten or recorded notes, data, and observations into electronic formats.
∎ Enter data into laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or electronic databases accurately and promptly.
∎ Organize and maintain laboratory records, notebooks, and documentation in a systematic and accessible manner.
∎ Ensure that all records are properly labeled, dated, and compliant with regulatory standards.
∎ Review transcribed data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
∎ Verify that data entries match source materials, and report any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
∎ Ensure that all documentation and data entry activities comply with relevant regulatory and quality assurance standards (e.g., Good Laboratory Practices, ISO standards, or industry-specific regulations).
∎ Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
∎ Maintain backups of electronic records to prevent data loss.
∎ Ensure the secure storage and retrieval of archived records.
